How the Typing Race Works
The typing race turns a regular speed test into a friendly competition. Type the words on screen as quickly and accurately as you can — every correct keystroke pushes your car forward, while three bots race alongside you at speeds set by the difficulty you pick. Cross the finish line first to take the gold, and once you set a personal best, a ghost racer appears so you can race your own record on every run.
Easy, Medium or Hard?
Each difficulty changes how fast the bots type. Easy bots cruise at 25–40 WPM, Medium push 42–65 WPM, and Hard fly at 70–100 WPM. Pick the level that keeps the race close — a tight finish is the best way to push your own speed higher.
Tips to Win the Race
Accuracy beats raw speed: every mistake leaves a red mark and lowers your real words-per-minute, so keep a steady rhythm. Look ahead to the upcoming words instead of your hands, use all ten fingers, and let the keystroke sounds set your pace.
Why Racing Makes You Faster
Competition is a powerful motivator. Racing against bots and your own ghost gives every session a clear goal and turns repetitive drills into a game you want to replay. The light pressure of a deadline trains you to type fluidly under stress — the exact skill you need for exams and timed tests.
